The Laboratoire Souterrain de Modane is planning to build a new international facility (4800 m.w.e) for deep underground research. The project consists of two cavities (20x15x100 m and 20x15x50 m) plus smaller dependencies with a total available volume of 60 000 m3. A particular objective of this first meeting will be to gather experiment representatives potentially interested in being hosted in the new facility and all interested in this new ambitious project. The workshop will be the opportunity to evaluate the infrastructure demands of the future experiments. Submission of further contributions is open to anyone willing to cover any aspect of underground science which would benefit from the projected new laboratory, ideally before June 5th. A visit to the laboratory is arranged for July 1st. Local Organizing Commitee:
